This news that comes from a report in the gaming trade rag can be found in a story titled “The Deadlight developer behind the original 2006 Resident Evil, Volgin, is now at work on a new project.” The developer behind the original RE that you remember (but may not have played if you didn’t have a PS2 around) is not called Volgin but someone else called Lucas Vasiliu. He describes himself as “an indie developer with over 7 years of experience, mostly on small and independent projects and 2 years in Tokyo working for Capcom.” I’ll give him this much.
